Holland Baroque Society considers it important to convey a love for music to both young and old. Children don't automatically come into contact with classical music these days, and the musicians feel a duty to share their own inspiration with young people.
Each education project consists of two parts: a preparatory lesson, and a concert. The musicians first approach the children in the familiar setting of their own school, where they are introduced to elements of the concert, finding out about the music, the players and the instruments that they'll hear later. The length and form of the "Kids Only" concert are tailored to the childrens' ages.
